OIL & GAS EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION
The SSCS Frond Scour Control Systems were first installed in the mid eighties for Shell and Amoco to rectify existing scour and free-spanning along pipelines in the Southern Sector of the North Sea.
These Frond Systems remain in place and continue to provide the required protection.
Since then Frond Systems have been used extensively worldwide by major Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Companies to both rectify scour and provide permanent protection for all types of existing and new subsea installations including:
- Pipelines,
- Cables and Umbilicals,
- Manifolds and Templates,
- Subsea Protection Structures,
- Drill Rig Spud Cans and Gravity Bases,
- Platform Piled and Gravity Base Foundations,
The Frond Systems are proven to be effective in extreme environmental conditions and to date have been installed in water depths up to 350 metres.
